We put Pico de Gallo on everything ! Tuesday nights are reserved for Mexican entrees so thats when I usually mix up a batch or two of fresh Pico de Gallo for the week……… well maybe just for the next day or two.
There are lots of ways to make Pico de Gallo and I am by no means a chef! This is the mixture that works for us!
All you need is a jalapeno, roma tomatoes, garlic, cilantro, red onion and a lime ………garlic not pictured because I’m perfectly imperfect like that!
Chop everything up as chunky or dicey as you like…… garlic pictured this time.
Throw everything in a Mason jar or bowl and shake it all up! It’s as simple as that !!
Pico de Gallo
Pico de Gallo
Ingredients
- 4 roma tomatoes
- 1/2 red onion
- 1 jalapeno
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/2 lime juice
- 1 handful cilantro
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Dice tomato, jalapeno, and onion. Mince galric. Chop desired amount of cilantro. Combine all ingredients and squeeze lime on top. Mix together. I like to throw everything in a mason jar and lightly shake it.
